This NW11 cysteine mutant allows the covalent immobilization of circularized nanodisc on solid surfaces. Each copy of cNW11 has three cysteine. The reactive sulfhydryl group of the cysteine serves as a unique immobilization site for conjugation using sulfhydryl chemistry.
